About
🧠 SmartRefer – Instantly Explore Wikipedia Articles from Within Wikipedia
SmartRefer is a powerful Chrome extension that helps you quickly discover related Wikipedia articles while browsing Wikipedia itself. Instead of copying text and performing manual searches, SmartRefer allows you to access up to 100 relevant articles with just a couple of clicks — directly from the article you're reading.
🔍 How It Works
Using SmartRefer is simple and intuitive:
Go to any article on Wikipedia
Select a word or phrase from the article text
Right-click the selection
In the right-click menu, look for the SmartRefer section (you may need to scroll if other extensions are installed)
Choose one of the two available options:
“Find articles with this in the title” – shows Wikipedia articles where the selected text appears in the title
“Find 100 relevant articles” – runs a broader search for related content, up to 100 results
Your results will appear in a clean new tab with clickable links to each article.
