Changelog
- Jun 9, 2026description
Extension for postinglens.com, it's a pro feature of the pro packages from the site. It shares the same engine and similar files. Enables the user to connect locally to the postinglens app that is run in the browser. Stores all data locally, nothing is shared and it's a natural extension of the site. This app won't be public, but rather shared via link to the customers that paid so no user without a link will be able to access the page to download it.
PostingLens helps candidates read job postings before spending time applying. Open the side panel on a job page to get a structured report on ghost-job patterns, vague compensation, missing hiring details, requirement inflation, scam/safety signals, jargon, contradictions, and questions worth asking before you apply. The analysis runs locally in your browser. Posting text is not sent to PostingLens. Optional translation only runs after you choose it. The free web analyzer remains available at postinglens.com. The Chrome extension is part of PostingLens Pro and requires a PostingLens Pro license for the full workflow. Payment is handled by PostingLens, not Google. You can open the extension and try a local demo report before connecting Pro.
