- Apr 17, 2026description
AOM Surface Explorer See and export the Agent Object Model (AOM) for any webpage. AOM describes what’s on a page in a way that AI agents and tools can use. This extension helps you inspect that structure and reuse it. What you can do • View AOM — Open the extension on any http/https page. It shows the page’s AOM surface (or generates one if the page doesn’t have it yet). • Copy or save — Copy the AOM JSON to the clipboard, or save it as a file (e.g. for use in the validator at aom.tools/validate or in your own tools). • Quick check — Run a basic structural check in the popup. For full schema validation, use the free validator at aom.tools/validate. • Report issues — Use the in-popup options to send feedback or report a problem (page URL and optional AOM snippet). Who it’s for Site owners and developers who want to see what AOM a page exposes, or who are adding AOM to their site and need a quick way to inspect and export it. The extension does not change page content; it only reads (and optionally generates) AOM for the current tab so you can copy or save it. Privacy The extension only works on the tab you open it on. It does not collect or send your data. Feedback and issue reports are sent only when you choose to use those actions.

This extension helps you inspect that structure and reuse it. What you can do: • View AOM — Open the extension on any http/https page. If the page already publishes AOM (application/ld+aom+json), it shows that surface when you open the popup. If there isn’t AOM yet, use Generate AOM to build a best-effort surface from the current page. The JSON is built in the extension and shown in the popup. • Regenerate — If the page already had AOM, you can use Regenerate for page to build a fresh AOM from the current page. • Copy or save — Copy the AOM JSON to the clipboard, or save it as a file (e.g. for use in the validator at https://www.aom.tools/validate or in your own tools). • Quick check — Run a basic structural check in the popup.
