Speed Master is a free, lightweight Chrome extension that gives you precise speed control for any HTML5 video on the web.
KEY FEATURES
• Speed range: 0.25x ~ 5.00x, in 0.25 steps (20 levels)
• Smart injection: Adds extra speed options directly into the native speed menu of popular video sites (no need to open the popup every time)
• Universal: Works on YouTube, Bilibili, Vimeo, Twitch, online courses, and any site with HTML5 <video>
• Bypass Premium-only speeds: Set 3x, 4x or 5x even on platforms that gate them behind paid plans (extension writes to <video>.playbackRate directly)

WHY ANOTHER SPEED CONTROLLER?
Existing video sites cap their speed at 2x (sometimes locked behind Premium). Speed Master removes that cap, offers a fine-grained 0.25 step, and feels native because it injects right into the site's own speed menu.
PRIVACY
This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. It does not use cookies or remote servers. All logic runs locally in your browser.
