About

Inbox Ledger captures every invoice and receipt you find on the web and sends it straight into your account, so you stop downloading PDFs one by one and digging through billing portals at month-end.

Here is the problem it solves. Most of the vendors you pay never email you a clean invoice. They hide it behind a login, in a billing section you have to remember to visit. Multiply that across the cloud, advertising, software, and marketplace services a business runs on, and closing your books turns into hours of clicking, downloading, and re-uploading. This extension removes that grind.

How it captures invoices
The extension works in three ways, so nothing slips through:
• Passive capture. Whenever you download an invoice from a billing page, the extension notices and offers to send it to Inbox Ledger. It works on any site, even ones it has never seen, because it rides along with the download you already started.
• Smart portal capture. On supported billing portals, the extension reads the page, finds every invoice waiting for you, and imports the whole batch in one click. Anything you already captured is marked and skipped, so you never import a duplicate.
• Manual selector. On a page the extension does not yet recognize, you point at the invoice links yourself and let it collect them. If a vendor has a billing page, you can capture from it.

Run capture on demand, or switch on automatic capture and let qualifying invoices flow in without a single click.

Supported portals
We currently support more than 25 billing portals across cloud hosting, advertising, payments, software, and online marketplaces, and we add new ones regularly. Common examples include Amazon Business, AWS, and Stripe. If a portal you use is not on the list yet, the manual selector still has you covered, and you can tell us what to add next.

What happens after capture
Captured files do not just pile up in a folder. Inside Inbox Ledger, AI reads each document and pulls out the vendor, amount, date, currency, and line items, then saves it as a clean, searchable record. From there you can:
• Export to QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting tools.
• Save copies to Google Drive or OneDrive.
• Match invoices against your bank statements to spot anything missing or overcharged.
• Send everything to your own system through our API. One dashboard holds every document from every source, so your books stay in one place.

Built with privacy first
• The extension stores no passwords and no tokens. It uses the website session you are already signed in to, nothing more.
• Everything you capture is sent only to your own Inbox Ledger account. No third-party tracking, no analytics, nothing sold or shared.
• Your data is encrypted in storage and in transit, and held in EU data centers.
• The extension reads a page only to find invoices on it, and only when you ask it to.

  Set up in minutes
  1. Install the extension and sign in to your Inbox Ledger account.
  2. Open a billing page, or simply download an invoice the way you normally would.
  3. Confirm the capture and watch the invoice land in your dashboard, already read and organized.

Who it is for
Accountants and bookkeepers handling many clients, finance teams buried in vendor portals, and business owners who would rather close the books in minutes than spend an evening hunting for PDFs.

Inbox Ledger turns the invoices you capture into clean, exportable records for your accounting workflow. This extension is how you feed it, without the manual download grind.
