About

VibeClipper — Chrome Web Store Listing

Click any element on a page, describe the change you want, and copy a ready-to-paste prompt for Claude Code, Cursor, or any AI CLI.

Details

Stop inspecting the DOM by hand. Start vibing.

VibeClipper bridges the gap between what you see in the browser and what your AI coding tool needs to hear. Click an element, type what you want changed, and get a detailed, context-rich prompt copied to your clipboard — ready to paste into Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, or any AI-powered coding CLI.

How it works:
1. Activate VibeClipper (toolbar icon or Alt+V)
2. Click any element on the page — it highlights and locks your selection
3. Pick an intent (Fix Bug, Restyle, Improve UX, Refactor, Add Feature) and describe the change
4. Hit Copy — a precise, structured prompt lands on your clipboard
5. Paste into your AI coding tool and get a working fix on the first try

What makes the prompt so good?
Every generated prompt automatically includes:
- Shortest unique CSS selector (validated for accuracy)
- XPath fallback locator
- Element's full HTML and parent context
- Computed styles (font, color, spacing, layout, dimensions)
- Page URL and title for file-level context
- Your change description, verbatim

No more switching to DevTools, hunting for selectors, or writing paragraphs of context. One click, one comment, one copy.

Batch mode for bigger changes:
Annotate multiple elements in a single session. Each gets a numbered pin on the page. Review all annotations in the sidebar, then generate one consolidated prompt that tells your AI tool to process every change in a single pass.

Details mode for power users:
Want to review or tweak the prompt before copying? Click Details to open a full preview where you can edit every line before it hits your clipboard.

Built for developers who vibe:
- Works on any website, including localhost and private domains
- Zero external dependencies — pure vanilla JS, no data leaves your browser
- All UI runs in Shadow DOM — never interferes with the page you're inspecting
- Lightweight and fast — no background network requests, no telemetry, no accounts

Perfect for:
- Developers using Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, or Copilot CLI
- Front-end and full-stack devs iterating on UI
- Non-developers building with AI (vibecoding)
- Anyone tired of writing "the button in the top-right corner with the blue background" by hand

Keyboard shortcut:
Alt+V to toggle on/off instantly.
