About

Ever lost your place in a long YouTube lecture? Spent five minutes scrubbing through a two hour video trying to find that one concept you wanted to revisit?

Save & Resume fixes that.

With one click or a keyboard shortcut, save the exact second you are at in any YouTube video. Come back later and jump straight to that moment. No scrubbing, no guessing, no wasted time.

NEW — Study Mode
Watching a lecture, tutorial, or long-form video you want to take notes on? Study Mode lets you save multiple timestamps in a single video and add a personal note to each one. Mark every concept you want to revisit, capture your thoughts as you go, and export everything as Markdown to take straight into Obsidian, Notion, or any note-taking app.

Resume Mode and Study Mode work side by side. Use Resume Mode for casual watching and Study Mode when you want to go deep. Switch between them anytime — your data is always kept safe.

Works without an account
Save & Resume works right out of the box. No sign in required. Your timestamps stay on your device and never leave unless you want them to.

Sync across devices (Optional)
Sign in with Google and your timestamps sync to the cloud. Pick up on your laptop what you saved on your desktop. Everything stays in sync automatically.
