The companion browser extension to wg-desk — the multi-tenant recruiting CRM at https://wgdesk.vercel.app.

WHAT IT DOES
• Reads the LinkedIn profile you're viewing and writes it through to your wg-desk Supabase CRM as a candidate row (name, title, current company, location, headline, connection state).
• Shows a live dossier panel: who in your CRM has this person on a pipeline, what stage they're at, prior interactions, who they remind us of.
• Logs multi-channel outreach as you do it: connection request, InMail, drip email, voicemail. Stamps each touchpoint with channel + direction + summary, and links to the active search.
• Surfaces your active searches in a side panel so you can route any profile you're on to the right pipeline in one click.
• 10-second toast undo on every write — accidental scrapes don't have to round-trip through the CRM to clean up.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Executive recruiters running searches on wg-desk.
• A wg-desk account is required — the extension authenticates against your existing browser session. If you haven't signed up, install the extension after you've created a wg-desk account.

DATA & PRIVACY
• The extension only reads LinkedIn profile pages (linkedin.com/in/*) that YOU choose to scrape.
• Data flows directly from your browser to your wg-desk Supabase instance — there is no third-party server, analytics, or telemetry. The extension code is open source under your wg-desk repository.
• Authentication is via the wg-desk session cookie. No credentials, tokens, or LinkedIn passwords are stored or transmitted by the extension.

PERMISSIONS
• "Read and change all your data on LinkedIn" — required to read the profile page you're actively viewing.
• "Read and change data on wg-desk.vercel.app" — required to send the scraped profile to your CRM.
• "Side panel" — opens the dossier UI alongside the LinkedIn page.
• "Storage" — saves your wg-desk API base URL preference.
• Optional host permissions — only requested if you self-host wg-desk at a custom URL.
