About

SnapShot Pro is the screenshot tool Chrome should have shipped with. Capture, annotate, and save any web page — all on your machine, no account required.

WHAT YOU GET
• Full-page scrolling capture — entire page stitched into one tall PNG
• Visible-area capture — quick grab of what's on screen
• Tab screen recording — save the active tab as a WebM video
• Annotation editor — rectangle, arrow, text, free draw, blur, crop, undo, copy
• Local capture history — re-open and download past shots anytime
• Keyboard shortcuts — Ctrl+Shift+1 (visible) and Ctrl+Shift+2 (full page)

DESIGNED FOR
• UX/UI designers grabbing reference shots and mock-ups
• QA engineers documenting bugs with annotated context
• Content teams capturing pages for guides, decks, and reports
• Educators and trainers building visual walkthroughs
• Anyone who needs a screenshot that actually shows the whole page

PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY
SnapShot Pro never sends your captures anywhere. Everything is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage. There are no analytics, no accounts, no cloud sync, no telemetry — the entire extension works offline. Open it, capture, save. That's it.

HOW IT WORKS
The full-page capture scrolls your active page in the background, taking tiled screenshots and stitching them together into a single PNG using OffscreenCanvas. Screen recording uses the standard chrome.tabCapture API and saves directly to your Downloads folder as a WebM file. The annotation editor runs as a regular extension page with a Canvas-based editor — your edits and exports never leave the browser.

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
• Ctrl+Shift+1 — Capture visible area
• Ctrl+Shift+2 — Capture full page
• Ctrl+Z (in editor) — Undo
• Ctrl+C (in editor) — Copy annotated image to clipboard
• Ctrl+S (in editor) — Save PNG to disk

OPEN AND HONEST
Built on Manifest V3 with only the permissions strictly required to do its job. No remote code. No tracking pixels. Your captures stay yours.
