About

Reading Ruler adds a soft, semi-transparent horizontal bar that follows your mouse cursor, helping you focus on a single line of text while you read. Move the bar up and down to follow your eyes.

 • Toggle the ruler from the toolbar icon or the keyboard shortcut **Ctrl + Shift + Y**.
 • Adjust height, color, and opacity to your liking — changes are live on every page.
 • One global switch — turn it on once and it works everywhere.
 • Designed for people who read a lot: students, researchers, professionals, and anyone with ADHD, dyslexia, or visual stress.
 • Lightweight and private — no data leaves your browser.
