Open the extension, choose a difficulty level, and start clearing the board. Reveal safe cells, flag hidden mines, use number clues, and try to beat your best time without hitting a mine.

The game runs inside a clean popup window, so you can play a quick round anytime without opening a separate website or creating an account.

Difficulty Modes:

How to Use:

1. Click the Minesweeper Original icon in your Chrome toolbar.
2. Select Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert mode.
3. Left-click a cell to reveal it.
4. Right-click a cell to place or remove a flag.
5. Use the numbers to identify where mines are hidden.
6. Reveal all safe cells to win.
7. Click the smiley button to restart anytime.

Privacy Friendly:

Minesweeper Original runs locally inside the extension popup. It does not require login, does not collect personal information, and does not send gameplay data to an external server.

Your best times are saved locally in your browser using local storage.
