What is Page Note?

Page Note is a Chrome extension that lets you leave a personal sticky note on any webpage. The note is saved to that exact URL and reappears automatically every time you visit — no account needed, no cloud sync, completely private.

It's the answer to:
●	"I need to remember something about this page for next time."
●	"I don't want to lose this thought while I'm researching."
●	"I want to leave a reminder on this specific page."

Installation
Install from the Chrome Web Store
1. Go to the Chrome Web Store page for Page Note.
2. Click "Add to Chrome".
3. Click "Add extension" in the confirmation dialog.
4. The 📝 icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar. Done.

Pin the icon (recommended)
Click the puzzle piece icon (🧩) in the Chrome toolbar, find Page Note, and click the pin icon. The 📝 icon will always be visible for quick access.

Set up the keyboard shortcut (optional)
Page Note supports Ctrl+Shift+H (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+H (Mac) to toggle notes instantly. To verify or customize it:

    chrome://extensions/shortcuts
Find Page Note in the list and confirm or change the shortcut.

How to Use
Adding a note
Go to any webpage. Click the 📝 icon in your toolbar — or press Ctrl+Shift+H. A sticky note widget appears in the bottom-right corner. Type your note and click Save (or Ctrl+S).

Your note comes back automatically
Every time you visit that page, your note reappears on its own. No clicking needed — it's just there.

Editing a note
Click the widget, edit the text directly, and click Save. Updated instantly.

Choosing a color
Four themes available: yellow, blue, green, pink. Click any color dot at the bottom of the widget. The color is saved with your note.

Moving the widget
Drag the header bar to reposition the note anywhere on screen.

Deleting a note
Click "Delete" inside the widget. The note is permanently removed for that page.

Viewing all notes
Click the 📝 icon to open the popup. All your notes are listed, sorted by most recent. Click any entry to go to that page.

Searching notes
Use the search bar in the popup to filter by content or URL. Results update as you type.

Privacy

🔒  100% private — nothing leaves your browser
Notes are stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API.
No data is sent to any server. No account is required.
Notes are never shared, synced, or uploaded anywhere.
Uninstalling the extension removes all stored notes.
