About

Let a general-purpose AI agent help you operate web pages inside your real Chrome browser.

GogloClaw Browser Operator is the official browser companion for the GogloClaw platform (https://www.gogloclaw.com). It connects your Chrome to a general-purpose AI agent so the agent can assist you with real, multi-step tasks on any website — reading pages, extracting information, filling forms, navigating multi-page flows, and completing repetitive web work — all inside YOUR own browser, on the sites where YOU are already signed in.

Unlike cloud scrapers, this extension does not run in a remote data center under a different IP and a different account. It runs locally in your Chrome, with your cookies, your logins, and your normal browser fingerprint. The agent sees the web the way you see it, can complete tasks that require authentication, and avoids most of the blocking and captchas that plague third-party automation services.

WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone whose day involves opening many tabs, signing in to many websites, and copying information back and forth.
Researchers and analysts who need to read, compare, and summarize content across many pages.
Operators who handle repeating browser workflows — form filling, status checking, data entry, page-by-page review — and want an assistant to share the load.
Professionals who want an AI that works WITH them inside their own browser, instead of replacing them with a black-box automation service.
WHAT THE AGENT CAN DO
Once installed and signed in, the extension opens a secure real-time connection to GogloClaw. When you ask the agent to perform a web task, it breaks the task into individual browser steps and asks this extension to run them. The agent can:

Open and navigate tabs, follow links and redirects
Read page structure, visible text, and key DOM elements; take screenshots
Click, type, scroll, hover, select dropdowns, switch tabs, go back/forward
Wait intelligently for asynchronous content to load
Detect login walls, pause, bring the tab forward for you to sign in, then resume automatically — your password is never sent to GogloClaw
Run multiple sessions in parallel, each in its own working tab
Yield instantly when you press "Stop," take over the tab, or disconnect
You stay in the driver's seat throughout. The agent operates visibly in front of you, and you can intervene at any moment.

THE POPUP
Click the toolbar icon for a clean control panel: connection status, active sessions with per-session "Stop" buttons, and a running log of the last 20 browser actions so you can see exactly what your agent is doing. No notifications, no injected content on pages you visit, no background noise.

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED
We use the minimum set required:

debugger — drives tabs via Chrome DevTools Protocol (the same protocol DevTools, Puppeteer, and Playwright use). Chrome's "controlled by automated test software" banner appears on session tabs — that is Chrome's built-in safety indicator, and we cannot (and would not) remove it.
tabs / tabGroups — create and manage session tabs.
cookies — read ONLY the GogloClaw session cookie on https://www.gogloclaw.com to authenticate you. Cookies for other sites are NEVER read.
activeTab / scripting — fallback path to read your GogloClaw access token; scoped to https://www.gogloclaw.com/*.
storage — cache the short-lived JWT in memory (cleared when Chrome closes) and recent action logs.
alarms — keep the MV3 service worker alive during active sessions and auto-reconnect.
host_permissions https://*/* — required because the agent must be able to assist you on whichever website you direct it to. The extension does NOT inject content scripts on every site, does NOT read sites you visit on your own, and only acts inside tabs explicitly opened for an active agent session.
PRIVACY
The extension authenticates with the platform session cookie you set by logging in normally. Your password is NEVER read.
The only data sent to GogloClaw is (a) your account JWT and (b) results of browser actions your own agent task requested — page content, extractions, screenshots of the working tab. We do not send your browsing history, your other tabs, your bookmarks, or anything outside the task.
No tracking pixels, no analytics injected into pages, no ads. We never sell user data.
See https://www.gogloclaw.com for the full Privacy Policy.
GETTING STARTED
Install from the Chrome Web Store.
Sign up or sign in at https://www.gogloclaw.com.
Pin the GogloClaw icon to your toolbar.
Open the popup and confirm status reads "Connected."
Start a task on GogloClaw — a working tab opens and the agent begins.
If a site asks for login, sign in normally; the agent resumes on its own.
Stop anytime via the popup, by closing the tab, or by disconnecting.
FAQ
Reads my history or other tabs? No — only tabs opened for an active agent session.
Password sent anywhere? No — you sign in directly to each site, as usual.
Stop a running task? Yes, instantly, from the popup.
Works on mobile? No — desktop Chrome only.

Install it, sign in, and let the agent get to work alongside you.
