About

Take a break from AI content, and hide repeated promoted, suggested, and keyword-matched posts on LinkedIn and X.

Zenfeed gives you local, private control over what shows up in your LinkedIn and X (Twitter) feeds — no account, no backend, no analytics.

1. Rest from AI
Turn on a timer (15–60 min) and Zenfeed hides AI-generated posts across your feed for that window, then automatically restores everything when time's up. A toolbar badge shows the countdown.

2. Block by keyword
Add your own keywords and Zenfeed collapses any post that matches — case-insensitive, entirely on your device. Useful for muting recurring topics, repeated launches, or any subject you're tired of seeing.

3. Cut repeated promoted and suggested clutter
Collapses "Promoted" / "Sponsored" posts on LinkedIn and "Ad" / "Promoted" tweets on X, plus the recurring "Suggested," "People you may know," "Who to follow," "You might like," and "Discover more" modules that reappear across your feed.

4. Nothing is deleted
Every collapsed post becomes a small, click-to-expand bar. You're always one click from seeing the original post — Zenfeed never removes or blocks content permanently, it just gets it out of your way.

5. Private by design
Zenfeed reads feed text locally in your browser to decide what to collapse. It doesn't send anything to a server, doesn't track you, doesn't use cookies or analytics, and doesn't require signing in. Settings are stored only in your browser's local storage.

Built for LinkedIn's main feed and X's home timeline. Zenfeed is not an ad blocker — it targets the specific promoted, suggested, and AI-labeled content types described above.

Instructions:
1. Click the puzzle-piece extensions icon in your browser toolbar and pin Zenfeed for easy access.
2. Open LinkedIn's feed or X's home timeline — Zenfeed starts working automatically, no setup required.
3. Click the Zenfeed toolbar icon to open the popup.
4. Use the toggles to turn "Hide promoted" and "Hide suggested" on or off.
5. Type a word or phrase into the keyword box and click Add to block any post containing it.
6. Pick a duration and click "Start rest" to hide AI-generated posts for that window — a badge on the toolbar icon counts down the time remaining.
7. Click "show" on any collapsed post to expand just that one post back — it stays visible and won't be re-hidden.
8. Turn any toggle off, or let a Rest from AI timer expire, to bring everything back at once.
