Turn NotebookLM into a sharper research assistant. This extension gives you a curated, bilingual (English/Spanish) library of advanced, ready-to-use prompts for literature review — the kind of well-structured prompts that get far better answers than off-the-cuff questions, always within reach when you actually need them.

WHY IT HELPS

NotebookLM is excellent for working through your sources, but its quality depends heavily on how you ask. A vague question gets a vague answer. These prompts are written to do the opposite: they instruct NotebookLM to stay anchored in your sources, to distinguish what the sources say from its own inferences, and to tell you clearly when your sources don't actually cover something — so a gap in the literature shows up as a finding, not as an invented answer.

HOW IT WORKS

Browse the prompts by category, pick the one you need, and fill in the highlighted fields with your topic, your claim, or the text you're working on. Each field comes with a short, numbered hint so you always know what goes where. When every field is complete, copy the finished prompt to your clipboard and paste it straight into NotebookLM. That's it.

WHAT'S INSIDE

The library is organised into three categories that follow the natural arc of a literature review:

Understanding & Learning — get your sources to explain things clearly: progressive explanations of a topic, clarification of a specific concept, and structured summaries of one or several sources.

Critical Analysis — put your sources to the test: extract the key and most contentious ideas, contrast how different sources treat a topic, analyse causes and consequences, weigh up an argument, build a cross-source state of the question, and lay out a timeline of events.

Draft Review & Verification — check your own work against the sources: verify whether a claim is supported, trace the origin of a figure, get a tutor-style review of a short draft, surface contradictions between sources, and generate a formatted bibliographic reference.

SCOPE

This extension is designed for the literature review of reports, articles and other text documents. It is not intended for database or statistical analysis, code, or any task that falls outside what NotebookLM does reliably with text-based sources.

BILINGUAL

Switch between English and Spanish at any time with the toggle in the header. Each prompt is provided in both languages, and NotebookLM will reply in whichever language you use.

Esta extensión te ofrece una biblioteca bilingüe (español/inglés) de prompts avanzados y listos para usar para la revisión bibliográfica: el tipo de prompts bien construidos que obtienen respuestas mucho mejores que las preguntas improvisadas, siempre a mano cuando de verdad los necesitas.

POR QUÉ AYUDA

NotebookLM es excelente para trabajar con tus fuentes, pero su calidad depende mucho de cómo preguntes. Una pregunta vaga da una respuesta vaga. Estos prompts hacen lo contrario: instruyen a NotebookLM para que se ancle en tus fuentes, distinga lo que estas afirman de sus propias inferencias y te avise con claridad cuando tus fuentes no cubren algo, de modo que un vacío en la literatura aparezca como un hallazgo y no como una respuesta inventada.

CÓMO FUNCIONA

Explora los prompts por categoría, elige el que necesitas y rellena los campos resaltados con tu tema, tu afirmación o el texto en el que estás trabajando. Cada campo lleva una pequeña indicación numerada para que siempre sepas qué va en cada sitio. Cuando todos los campos están completos, copia el prompt terminado al portapapeles y pégalo directamente en NotebookLM. Así de fácil.

QUÉ INCLUYE

La biblioteca se organiza en tres categorías que siguen el recorrido natural de una revisión bibliográfica:

Comprensión y aprendizaje — pídele a tus fuentes que te lo expliquen con claridad: explicaciones progresivas de un tema, clarificación de un concepto concreto y resúmenes estructurados de una o varias fuentes.

Análisis crítico — somete las fuentes a examen: extrae las ideas principales y más controvertidas, contrasta cómo distintas fuentes tratan un tema, analiza causas y consecuencias, discute un argumento, construye una síntesis transversal del estado de la cuestión y ordena una cronología de hitos.

Revisión y verificación de borradores — revisa tu propio trabajo frente a las fuentes: verifica si una afirmación está respaldada, rastrea el origen de un dato, obtén una revisión de tu borrador al estilo de un tutor, detecta contradicciones entre fuentes y genera una referencia bibliográfica con formato.

ALCANCE

Esta extensión está pensada para la revisión bibliográfica de informes, artículos y otros documentos de texto. No está diseñada para el análisis de bases de datos o estadístico, código, ni tareas que queden fuera de lo que NotebookLM hace de forma fiable con fuentes basadas en texto.
