The search box

When you submit a query, it goes to your current default search engine through Chrome's built-in chrome.search API. Vistara does not change your default search engine, route queries through a third-party server, or log what you type.

Privacy

• No personal data collected
• No cookies, no cross-site tracking
• Search queries go straight to your default engine — Vistara never sees them
• Photo metadata is served via our Cloudflare Worker (which proxies the Unsplash API); the photo bytes themselves load directly from Unsplash
• Autocomplete suggestions come from Google's public suggest endpoint
