About

How to Use TradeBoost Pro:

1. Install the extension and click the icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.

2. Configure AI Provider:
   - Go to the "Settings" tab (⚙️) in the popup, or right-click the extension icon → Options.
   - Select your AI provider: OpenAI, DeepSeek, Claude, or Alibaba Cloud (DashScope).
   - Enter your API key (you can get one from the provider's official website).
   - Click "Save Settings" and use "Test Connection" to verify.

3. Use AI Features:
   - **Listing Tab**: Select platform (Amazon/eBay/Shopify/TikTok), enter product keywords, choose target language, and click "Generate Listing" to create optimized product titles, bullet points, and descriptions.
   - **Translate Tab**: Select source/target language, choose translation type (product title/description/customer service/keywords), enter text, and click "Translate". Customer service templates are also available for quick replies.
   - **Sourcing Tab**: 
     • Competitor Extraction: Open any product page and click "Extract Current Page" to get title, price, rating, reviews, seller, and ASIN.
     • Profit Calculator: Enter selling price, cost, shipping, FBA fee, and commission rate to calculate profit margins.
     • Keyword Mining: Enter a seed keyword to generate related long-tail keywords with search volume and competition data.
     • Listing Score: Paste your listing title and description to get an optimization score and improvement suggestions.
   - **Snippets Tab**: Create and manage text shortcuts for frequently used phrases. Supports {date} and {time} variables.

4. Context Menu & Shortcuts:
   - Select any text on a webpage, right-click to access: Copy as Plain Text, Markdown, HTML, AI Summarize, AI Translate, Generate Listing.
   - Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+C (Plain Text), Alt+Shift+M (Markdown), Alt+Shift+H (HTML), Alt+Shift+A (AI Smart Copy).

5. Free vs Pro:
   - Free users get 5 AI requests per day, 10 clipboard history items, and 3 text snippets.
   - Pro users get unlimited AI requests, 200 clipboard items, and 100 snippets.

Note: All API keys are stored locally in your browser. No data is sent to our servers.

Note on <all_urls> permission:
This extension needs to work on any webpage because:
1. Users may select text on ANY website and use keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+C/M/H/A) to copy/convert it
2. The context menu operations (right-click on selected text) must work on any page
3. Competitor data extraction works on various e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.)
4. The content script only reads user-selected text and converts formats - it does NOT track browsing behavior or collect any data
