MonkGrab turns any webpage into clean Markdown with a single click. No popup, no copy-paste, no server, no second step. Press the button (or the hotkey) and a tidy .md file lands in your Downloads folder.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Most "save to Markdown" tools, bookmarklets, and plain copy-paste fail on content embedded from another website. Browsers block one site from reading an iframe served by a different domain, so embedded readers, course lessons, and docs viewers come out empty. MonkGrab is built specifically to capture that content. It reads every frame of the page from the inside, where the cross-origin wall does not apply, converts each content frame to Markdown, and saves one file.

WHY IT NEEDS BROAD SITE ACCESS

The whole point of MonkGrab is reading content inside cross-origin iframes. Chrome only allows that with host access to the page. The permission runs only when you click the icon or press the hotkey, never on page load and never in the background.

HOW TO USE

1. Open any page.
2. Click the MonkGrab icon or press the hotkey.
3. A check mark flashes and your .md file appears in Downloads/monkgrab/.
