About

Tab Burrow clears the tabs you've stopped using — without losing them.

Unlike "save all my tabs" tools, Tab Burrow targets tabs by AGE: it looks at how
long it has been since you last viewed each tab and archives only the ones that
have gone stale. One left-click on the toolbar icon archives every stale tab
into local storage and closes it. Nothing is sent anywhere — your tabs are saved
on your own device and can be restored at any time.

WHY TAB BURROW
• One gesture. Click the icon, the clutter is gone, the rest of your tabs stay.
• Time-based, not manual. You set "stale = not viewed for N hours"; Tab Burrow
  finds them for you.
• Optional automatic cleanup. Turn on a schedule and it keeps things tidy on its
own — no need to remember.
• Always reversible. Every tab is archived BEFORE it is closed. Restore one tab,
or a whole group, whenever you want.
• Private by design. 100% local. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no
  tracking.

SAFE BY DEFAULT
Tab Burrow never touches the tab you're using, pinned tabs, tabs playing audio,
incognito tabs, or the last remaining tab in a window. It only acts on ordinary
http/https tabs that have actually gone stale.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set how many hours of "not viewed" counts as stale (default 72).
2. Left-click the toolbar icon (or enable a cleanup schedule).
3. Stale tabs are archived locally, then closed, and the Archive page opens.
4. Restore individual tabs or whole groups any time. Search your archive by
title, URL, or hostname. Delete what you no longer need.

Want a confirmation step before anything closes? Turn on "Preview before manual
cleanup" in Options to see the candidate list first.

PERMISSIONS
Tab Burrow asks only for what it needs to do this one job — read tab metadata to
find stale tabs, close them, and store the archive locally. It requests no host
permissions and reads no page content. See the privacy policy for details.
