3. Get a free Anthropic API key at console.anthropic.com
4. Paste it into Settings (one time setup)
5. Start a research session with your topic

❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Does this work without an API key?
A: Yes. Clips are saved without AI summaries. Add an API key anytime 
   to unlock relevance scoring and AI narrative export.

Q: How much does the Anthropic API cost?
A: Very little. Summaries use Claude Haiku (cheapest model). 
   1,000 clips costs roughly $0.50–$1.00. Most users spend under 
   $2/month at heavy usage.

Q: Does it work on all websites?
A: It works on almost all standard websites. Some exceptions:
   Chrome internal pages (chrome://), Chrome Web Store pages, 
   and sites with strict Content Security Policies may block 
   the floating toast.

Q: Can I use it without an internet connection?
A: Saving clips and viewing your dashboard works offline. 
   AI summaries require an internet connection to reach the API.

Q: How many clips can I save?
A: Chrome's local storage allows roughly 5MB. At average clip size, 
   that's 500–2,000 clips. The extension warns you when approaching 
   the limit.

Q: Can I export to Notion or Obsidian?
A: The Markdown export is fully compatible with both. In Notion, 
   use "Import → Markdown". In Obsidian, drop the .md file into 
   your vault.

Q: Is my data backed up?
A: Currently stored locally only. Use JSON export regularly as 
   a backup. Cloud sync is on the roadmap.

Q: Does it slow down my browser?
A: No. The content script only activates on text selection events. 
   It does not run on scroll, page load, or in the background.
