HOW IT WORKS:
1. Install the extension and open the Settings page.
2. Log in to your DashCanopy account at dashcanopy.com and copy your API key from Settings → API & Extension.
3. Paste the key into the extension settings and click Save.
4. Browse to any site in your portfolio — the extension automatically detects it and shows live stats.

DashCanopy is built for website portfolio owners — bloggers, affiliate marketers, digital publishers, SaaS founders, and agency owners who manage multiple sites and need a single command center. If you monitor more than one website, this extension will save you hours every week.
PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS:
This extension requests the following permissions:
• Storage — to save your API key locally in your browser
• Active Tab — to read the current page URL and match it against your portfolio
• Tabs — to update the toolbar badge when you switch tabs

No browsing history is collected. No data is sent to third parties. Your API key is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's encrypted sync storage.
