  My workflow has always been to open videos in new tab. Testers discovered that regular clicking breaks it. re-engineered so now it works whether you open the video in a new tab or same tab.
  
  Better Detection: Music detection now works perfectly when clicking videos from the sidebar.
  
  Shorts Fix: YouTube Shorts are now fully supported without opening them in new tab and will correctly apply your custom speed.
  
  Under-the-Hood Polish: Rewrote the speed-enforcement engine to be faster, lighter, and much more reliable.
