Polaris is built on a simple principle: your data stays on your device. All analysis is performed locally in your browser. All profile data is stored in your browser's built-in IndexedDB storage. No servers, no cloud, no tracking.
Polaris does not access X's API. It reads only publicly visible information on the page; the same data anyone can see by visiting a profile.
Anonymous usage data (opt-in, off by default). New in this version: an optional setting that, if you turn it on, sends small anonymous events — things like "popup opened" or "analysis completed" — to help understand which features are useful. Profile handles, tweet content, URLs, and your identity are never sent. You can see the last 20 events that have been sent at any time, in the Settings panel. Turn it off in one click.
You can delete all stored data at any time from the settings panel, or delete individual profiles from the dashboard. Uninstalling the extension removes everything.
    FREE TO USE
All core features are available for free. No account required. No sign-up. Just install and start analysing.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
