📝 Permissions Explained
To provide universal autofill functionality, SmartForm AI requires the following permissions:

"Read and change all your data on the websites you visit" (<all_urls>):
Why? This permission is strictly used to detect form fields on the pages you visit and overlay the autofill button. We do not track your browsing history or collect data from pages that do not contain forms you interact with.
"Know your email address" (identity):
Why? Used to securely sign you in with your Google Account so you can sync your profiles across devices.

Visit a Form: SmartForm AI automatically detects input fields.
Click & Fill: Click the SmartForm icon to fill the entire form in seconds.
Teach & Learn: If a field isn't recognized, you can manually fill it, and SmartForm can learn to recognize it next time (feature in beta).
