  DocUnlocked PDF Rescue helps rescue hard-to-read documents and turn them into outputs you can review, copy, download, and share.
  
  Use it for old docs, handwritten receipts, dense PDFs, scans, document photos, forms, letters, archive pages, PDFs, DOC, DOCX, PPT and PPTX files that need a readable review package.
  
  Start from Chrome after an explicit click:
  - open DocUnlocked from the current tab;
  - choose a local supported file and continue in the DocUnlocked web flow;
  - keep upload, $9 checkout, cloud processing, result status and downloads inside DocUnlocked;
  - avoid background scraping, hidden page reading, broad website permissions or document storage in Chrome.
  
  DocUnlocked supports the V14 promise: pay only after DocUnlocked accepts your file, $9 per document, no subscription, up to 200 pages and 200 MB.
  
  What DocUnlocked can return:
  - readable extracted text;
  - a plain-language summary;
  - source notes, review flags and checks;
  - downloadable text, Word-style, Excel-style, JSON, HTML and ZIP review files.
  
  The extension itself is intentionally lightweight. It does not process documents locally, read page bodies, store document content, store OCR output, or store signed upload, checkout, or result URLs.
  
  Important: DocUnlocked outputs are review-ready aids. Handwriting, old documents, damaged scans and dense layouts can vary in quality, so review extracted content before relying on it for important decisions.
