About

DriveDeck keeps your Google Drive files one click away, in a panel that stays open beside whatever you're doing.

Instead of digging through Drive or hunting across tabs, open the side panel and see your files right away — sorted so the ones you've touched most recently are at the top.

FEATURES

• Persistent side panel — your files stay docked beside the page you're on, so you never lose your place.
• Every file type — Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Office and PDF uploads.
• Type filters — narrow the list to Docs, Sheets, Slides, or PDFs with one tap.
• Instant search — start typing to filter your files by name.
• Recent files — quick shortcuts to the files you opened most recently.
• Switch accounts — sign in with any Google account and switch between them from the sidebar.
• Create new files — create a blank Google Sheet, Doc, or Slides presentation directly from the sidebar.
• One-click open — click any file to open it in a new tab.
• Clean, familiar design — a lightweight interface that feels at home next to Google Workspace.

PRIVACY FIRST

DriveDeck only reads the metadata of your Google Drive files — names, IDs, types, owners, and modified dates — to build the list. It never reads the contents of your files and cannot edit or delete anything. When you use the Create New feature, a blank file is created in your Drive on your behalf. No data is collected, stored, or sent to anyone. All requests go directly to Google's own APIs, authenticated with your own Google account.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel.
2. Click "Sign in with Google" — a Google authorization popup will appear. Approve Drive access to continue.
3. Your files appear instantly, ready to filter, search, and open.

To sign out, click the sign-out icon in the top-right corner of the panel.
