Groups MUST contain ⧖ or 📌 in their name for URL rules to work. Groups without these icons are ignored by the auto-grouping system.

⧖ icon: ⧖ My Group - temporary group, tabs are grouped but will be ungrouped when they no longer match the URL rules
📌 icon: 📌 My Group - sticky group, tabs are grouped and stay grouped even if they navigate away from matching URLs (unless they match another group)
🚫 icon: 🚫 My Group - locked group, tabs already in this group will NOT be automatically moved or ungrouped, even if another group's URL rules match
How to use ⧖ (Temporary Groups):

Example: Create a group named ⧖ Shopping with URL rule amazon.com
When you visit amazon.com, the tab gets grouped into "⧖ Shopping"
When you navigate away from amazon.com (e.g., to google.com), the tab is automatically ungrouped
Use case: Perfect for temporary browsing sessions where you only want tabs grouped while on specific sites
How to use 📌 (Sticky Groups):

Example: Create a group named 📌 Work with URL rule company.com
When you visit company.com, the tab gets grouped into "📌 Work"
When you navigate to other sites (e.g., stackoverflow.com), the tab stays in "📌 Work"
The tab only leaves the group if it matches another group's URL rules
Use case: Great for keeping related tabs together even as you browse different sites during a work session
How to use 🚫 (Locked Groups):

Example: Place tabs into a group named 🚫 My Group (the 🚫 can appear anywhere in the name)
Tabs in this group will never be automatically moved or ungrouped, even if another group's URL rules match
The 🚫 icon can be combined with other icons, e.g. ⧖🚫 Research, but the lock always takes priority
Use case: Useful for manually curated groups you never want the extension to reorganize
