PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your cards and study history are stored locally in your browser and never uploaded. With the on-device AI engine, even card generation happens entirely on your computer.

NOTE ON THE ON-DEVICE AI
The built-in AI engine needs Chrome desktop (version 138+) with Google's Gemini Nano model available, which requires sufficient free disk space. If it isn't available on your device, FlashLeaf automatically falls back to your own API key or the no-AI local engine — so card creation always works.
