About
🚀 Turn any web page into structured data Web Page Scraping opens a panel on the current page so you can click elements to build columns, preview rows in a table, and export CSV—no selectors, no backend, and no data sent to our servers. 1. Open the extension on any http(s) page with repeated items (cards, rows, list blocks). 2. Use Columns and Table in the floating panel to pick fields and see aligned rows. 3. Click titles, prices, links, or snippets so matching elements highlight and become one column. 4. Remove picks from the Columns list, right-click highlights, or click a highlight again to undo. 5. After infinite scroll or “load more,” scroll to load items, then tap Refresh table so the DOM matches what you export. 6. Export with Copy CSV or Save CSV (default filename table-results.csv). 7. Use the result in spreadsheets, scripts, or local AI workflows; API and MCP are planned. ✨ Why teams and power users install this 1️⃣ Click-to-pick columns — choose exact fields on the page instead of writing XPath or CSS. 2️⃣ Structural matching — the first pick fingerprints repeating containers; later picks replay relations across matches. 3️⃣ Live DOM alignment — the Table aligns columns by DOM order so row-like output reflects what you see. 4️⃣ CSV built in — clipboard copy or one-click download for immediate analysis. 5️⃣ Privacy-first — everything runs in your browser with no upload to our infrastructure. 6️⃣ AI-friendly direction — CSV fits local LLM and automation pipelines today while JSON export, API, and MCP are on the roadmap. 📰 Popular use cases from the product site ➤ Finance and market news — capture headlines, summaries, and links for dashboards, alerts, or offline research. ➤ Legal and regulatory feeds — keep article previews and source URLs in a tidy table for review workflows. ➤ Search results and directories — export title, URL, and snippet columns from SERPs or listings. ➤ Product and listing pages — collect names, prices, ratings, and deep links for spreadsheet comparisons. ➤ Repeated layouts — works best when items share the same DOM structure so structural matching stays stable. ⚙️ Honest limits (so expectations stay clear) ▸ The panel only runs on regular http(s) pages—not Chrome internals, extension pages, or the Chrome Web Store. ▸ There is no iframe extraction; content inside embedded frames is out of scope today. ▸ No automatic pagination—load or scroll the page yourself, then refresh the table before exporting. ▸ Exports are text-focused CSV from matched elements; binary media is not bundled into the file. 🛠️ Quick troubleshooting • Panel does not open — confirm the tab URL starts with http:// or https:// before retrying the toolbar icon. • Highlights feel too broad — click a more specific node inside one repeated card or row to tighten structural matching. • Rows look stale after scrolling — use Refresh table once lazy-loaded or appended content is visible in the DOM. Support: use Report error in the panel footer for a structured bug report. Coming soon: JSON export, API, and MCP integration for bots and local models that need structured page data without manual clicking.
