🟢 企業向け Gemini でチャット履歴を UI 上だけ非表示に。削除不可の環境でも安全に運用。

【概要】
Gemini のサイドバーに並ぶチャット履歴を、行ごとに「×」で個別に非表示にできる拡張機能です。ツールバーアイコンで ON（非表示有効）／OFF（プレビュー） を切り替え、プレビュー中は一時的に全件表示＋個別の「↩（復元）」が行えます。
サーバー上のデータは変更しません（UI 上の不可視化のみ）。履歴データの削除・送信は一切行いません。

【使い方】
1.拡張をインストールし、ツールバーにピン留め
2.Gemini（https://gemini.google.com/）を開く
3.サイドバーの各会話行で「×」→ その行が非表示に
4.ツールバーアイコンをクリック → プレビュー（全件表示）、隠した行に「↩（復元）」
5.もう一度アイコンをクリック → ON に戻り、隠した行は再び非表示

【権限とデータ取り扱い】
・使用権限：storage（状態の保持に使用）
・ホスト範囲：https://gemini.google.com/*
・保存内容：非表示にした会話の識別子と ON/OFF 設定（端末内のみ）
・外部送信なし／個人情報の収集なし／リモートコードなし

【よくある質問】
Q. サーバー上の履歴は削除されますか？
A. いいえ。UI 上の非表示のみで、サーバーの会話データには触れません。

Q. 英語 UI やダークモードでも動きますか？
A. はい。共通のセレクタと監視で動作する設計です。

【トラブルシューテ│ィング】
・反映されない：chrome://extensions で拡張をリロード。必要に応じてサービスワーカー停止→自動再起動。
・アイコンが切り替わらない：画像名（chat-hide.png / chat-restore.png）と manifest の指定を確認。

🟢 Hide Gemini sidebar chats at the UI level — ideal for organizations where deletion/hidden history is disabled by policy.

Overview
This extension lets you hide individual conversations in the Gemini sidebar with an “×” button. Use the toolbar icon to toggle ON (hiding enabled) / OFF (Preview). In Preview mode, everything becomes visible and each hidden row shows a “↩ Restore” action.
No server data is modified — it’s UI-only hiding with no data exfiltration.

How to use
1.Install and pin the extension
2.Open https://gemini.google.com/
3.Click “×” on any sidebar row to hide it
4.Click the toolbar icon to enter Preview (show all); use “↩ Restore” on hidden items
5.Click the icon again to re-enable hiding (ON)

Permissions & Data
Permissions: storage (state persistence)
Host scope: https://gemini.google.com/*
Stored locally: IDs of conversations you chose to hide + ON/OFF flag
No data leaves the device; no PII collection; no remote code

FAQ
Does it delete server data?
No. It only hides rows in the UI. Server-side conversations remain intact.

Does it work with English UI and dark theme?
Yes. It’s designed with stable selectors and observers.

Troubleshooting
Not updating? Go to chrome://extensions, Reload the extension, and (if needed) stop/restart the Service Worker.
Toolbar icon not switching? Verify image filenames (chat-hide.png / chat-restore.png) and manifest paths.
