1. Sign in to your Amazon Ads account in the same browser profile.
2. Click the // aSelex Partners icon and press "Start sync".
3. The extension reuses your existing Amazon session (no separate login,
   no shared credentials, no scraping proxies) to fetch the directory
   page by page through Amazon's own GraphQL API.
4. The sync pauses automatically on rate limits and resumes with
   exponential backoff — no babysitting required.
5. When done, click "Open viewer" to browse, filter, search, and export.
6. Sync again later — the extension highlights NEW partners that
   appeared since the previous run.

📋 PERMISSIONS — IN PLAIN ENGLISH

- storage, unlimitedStorage — to save the synced directory and your
  settings on your device. Directory snapshots can exceed 5 MB.
- tabs — to open an invisible Amazon Ads tab when authentication
  needs to refresh, and to open the viewer page on demand.
- scripting — used only on advertising.amazon.com during the auth
  refresh flow. Never injected into other sites.
- webRequest — passively observes Amazon's own outgoing GraphQL
  requests so the extension can reuse your existing session. Read-only,
  scoped to advertising.amazon.com only.
- Host permission for advertising.amazon.com — the only website the
  extension touches.


❓ FAQ

Q: Does this scrape Amazon?
A: No. The extension reuses Amazon's own GraphQL API the same way
   Amazon's own UI does, while you are signed in. No headless browser,
   no proxy network, no automation farm.

Q: Will I get rate-limited or banned?
A: The extension throttles requests with a configurable interval and
   backs off exponentially on 429/5xx responses. The defaults are
   conservative. You can also pause and resume any time.

Q: Where is my data stored?
A: Entirely on your device, in chrome.storage.local. Nothing is
   uploaded. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything.

Q: Does it work on amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, or other marketplaces?
A: The Amazon Advertising Partner Directory is global at
   advertising.amazon.com — there is one directory for all marketplaces
   you have access to in your account.

Q: How does NEW-partner detection work?
A: After every sync, the extension stores the list of partner IDs
   it just fetched. On the next sync, any ID that wasn't in the
   previous list is flagged as NEW. The viewer has a "NEW only" toggle.

Q: Why does the extension need an "invisible tab" to Amazon?
A: Only when the cached authentication is older than 30 minutes.
   The tab is needed for Amazon's own page to issue fresh authenticated
   requests, which the extension then observes to refresh its session
   cache. The tab closes automatically.

Q: Can I export everything I've synced?
A: Yes — full CSV or JSON export, including the NEW flags and your
   filters if you choose to apply them before exporting.
