About

Securoxen Guard is an AI-powered second opinion for anything that looks suspicious in your browser, include phishing emails, shady links, sketchy attachments, scam DMs, or pages that just feel wrong.

Just right-click, snap, or paste. Get back a clear verdict in seconds, with the reasoning behind it.

WHAT IT DOES
- Analyzes emails, URLs, files, and screenshots and tells you whether they are safe, suspicious, a threat, malware, or a scam, with a confidence score.
- Explains why. Every verdict comes with named findings (suspicious link, spoofed sender, urgent-language pattern, lookalike domain, behavior flag), graded by severity. Click any finding to see the evidence.
- Gives you a recommended next step. Not just “suspicious” but “do this, not that.”
- Lets you ask follow-up questions. Each analysis opens a focused chat grounded in the actual result, so you can ask things like “why is this domain a lookalike?” or “what should I do if I already clicked it?”

HOW YOU INVOKE IT
- Toolbar icon, opens the side panel on any page.
- Selection pill, highlight any text on any page and a small “Analyze with Guard” pill appears.
- Right-click menu, “Analyze with Guard,” “Check this link,” “Scan this image,” or “Snap & ask.”
- Snap & ask: drag a region on any page and Guard analyzes the screenshot.

HOW IT DECIDES
Securoxen Guard combines multiple signals:
- Large-language-model analysis of language, sender intent, urgency patterns, and social-engineering markers.
- Real-time link and domain reputation lookups across multiple threat-intelligence sources.
- File and header inspection for known phishing kits, spoofed senders, and lookalike domains.
- Behavioral indicators specific to the content type (email vs. webpage vs. DM vs. crypto-wallet prompt).

 DESIGNED FOR
- Vulnerable professionals: lawyers, accountants, executives, anyone whose inbox is a target.
- Small and medium businesses without a dedicated security team.
- Crypto and DeFi users facing wallet-drainer scams, fake airdrops, and phishing impersonations.
- Anyone who occasionally gets a message they’re not sure about.

PRIVACY
- Content is analyzed and discarded. Free analyses are not stored on our servers.
- Pro plan analyses are encrypted on your device before being saved, so we cannot read your history even if our database is compromised.
- The extension never reads your page content unless you explicitly submit it (via selection, right-click, snap, or paste).
- No tracking, no ad SDKs, no third-party analytics inside the extension.
- Authentication tokens are stored in Chrome’s local extension storage, never in plain localStorage.

 PLANS
- Free: analyze anything, no history, limited analyses.
- Professional: unlimited analyses, full history, priority models, advanced findings.

PERMISSIONS - WHY WE ASK
Securoxen Guard requests broad host permissions so the analysis panel works on every page. We use this access to:
- Inject the side panel and the selection pill into pages you visit.
- Capture a screenshot only when YOU click “Snap & ask.”
- Read your Supabase session from localStorage on securoxen.io when you sign in, so signing in on the web tab also signs you in inside the extension.

We do not read, log, or transmit page content at any other time.

SUPPORT
Found a bug or false positive? Reach us via the support page on securoxen.io or by our email [email protected]. We read every report and tune the model against real-world false positives weekly.
