About

Tailor your resume to the job you're looking at, in one click.

ResumeCommand's extension reads the job posting on the page you're viewing and
tailors your master resume to it | no copy-pasting, no switching tabs.

**How it works**
1. Open any job posting (LinkedIn, Indeed, a company careers page | anywhere).
2. Click the ResumeCommand icon and hit **Extract this job**. The extension reads
the posting text already on the page and pulls out the role, company,
requirements, and skills, plus a match score against your master resume.
3. Hit **Tailor my resume**. ResumeCommand rewrites your resume to surface the
experience and skills this role is asking for.
4. Click **Open in ResumeCommand** to review, edit, and export your tailored
   resume as a polished PDF.

**Why it's different**
Because the extension reads the posting directly from the page you're already
on, it works on sites that block automated scrapers | the job text is simply
there in your browser.

**You need a free ResumeCommand account** with a master resume on it. Sign in
happens through your browser; the extension never sees your password.

**What it does *not* do**
- It does not read pages you don't ask it to | it only reads a page's text when
  you click **Extract this job**.
- It does not track your browsing, and it has no access to your other tabs.
