Download Duster is a lightweight, privacy-focused utility that automatically sweeps your browser's download record in the background. Say goodbye to a cluttered download list and reclaim your disk space without having to lift a finger.

📊 Configurable Activity Logs: Review what has been cleaned in the Recent Activity panel. You can limit how many logs to keep (by count or timeframe), clear them manually, or disable logging entirely.

🔒 Optional File Details: Choose whether to record individual filenames and timestamps in your local log, or only keep aggregate statistics.

Download Duster is built on a zero-telemetry, offline-first philosophy. Your data never leaves your  machine.

• 100% Local Execution: The extension does not connect to external servers, APIs, or trackers. There is no remote code execution.
• No Telemetry or Analytics: We do not collect, track, or share any information about your browsing habits, download history, or extension usage.
• Sandboxed Storage: All settings and optional activity logs are stored locally in your browser's secure sandboxed storage.
• Minimal Permissions: Requires only the absolute minimum permissions needed to query the local download database (downloads, alarms, storage, contextMenus).
