It is designed for users with large or messy bookmark libraries who want better control than the default browser bookmark manager, without sending bookmark data to any server.

The extension uses browser bookmark permissions only to read and manage bookmarks when you choose an action, such as creating a folder, moving a bookmark, tagging an item, deleting to custom trash, or restoring a bookmark.

Privacy-First Bookmark Manager is built for safer manual organization. It does not auto-delete bookmarks, auto-clean duplicates, or move bookmarks without user action.
