About

SecurePaste keeps confidential text out of LLM training data and logs by intercepting the paste action on Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

  HOW IT WORKS
  1. Paste your text into the LLM's input.
  2. SecurePaste scans for emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, credit cards (Luhn-validated), SSNs, names, organizations, and your own custom keywords.
  3. A confirmation bar shows each finding. Click MASK ALL or pick selectively.
  4. Selected items are replaced with opaque tokens like [[ANON_1]] before the request reaches the model. A short privacy note tells the model to preserve them verbatim.
  5. When the response streams in, SecurePaste swaps the tokens back to the originals in the page DOM. You read the unredacted answer; the model only ever saw the masked version.
