About

TabTree turns Chrome’s side panel into a fast, visual command center for your tabs. Instead of a flat list, tabs are organized in a tree-style hierarchy so you can keep related pages together, reduce clutter, and move through complex browsing sessions with less friction.

Designed for heavy tab workflows, TabTree gives you a vertical layout with parent/child relationships, drag-and-drop restructuring, and quick operations that feel natural as your session grows. You can open child tabs from the current page, collapse or expand branches, and manage entire groups of related tabs at once.

The extension also includes multi-select workflows for power users. Use range selection to batch-manage tabs, then close, move, or reorganize multiple items together in a few clicks. For safer cleanup, TabTree adds confirmation before closing larger trees, with an option to skip prompts once you’re comfortable.

Appearance is highly customizable and syncs across devices with your Chrome profile. Choose from multiple curated theme families (including Catppuccin, Everforest, and Gruvbox), then fine-tune density, spacing, radius, and accent color to match your style. Pinned tabs are optimized into a compact horizontal strip, while tab groups are shown as color-coded subtrees with group names for better scanning.

Key highlights:

  - Tree-style vertical tabs in Chrome side panel
  - Parent/child tab relationships with collapse/expand
  - Drag-and-drop reparenting and reorder
  - Shift-click multi-select and batch operations
  - Search and quick navigation
  - Compact pinned-tab strip
  - Color-aware tab group subtrees
  - Theme presets + deep visual customization
  - Settings synced through Chrome Sync

Whether you’re researching, coding, shopping, or planning, TabTree helps you keep context intact and stay in control of large tab sessions without losing speed.
