  HOW IT WORKS
  1. Open the side panel and pick the target language (e.g. German, Japanese, Spanish).
  2. Click "Run audit." LingoAI extracts the visible text on the page (including tooltip/aria-label/placeholder text) and has an AI model review it against the target locale.
  3. Get a report grouped by severity, with on-page overlays that point to each problem.

  WHAT IT CATCHES
  • Critical — untranslated strings on a localized page; clipped or overflowing UI (detected deterministically in the live DOM).
  • Major — grammar errors and culturally inappropriate phrasing.
  • Minor — number, date, and currency formatting; spacing and punctuation.

  LingoAI is local-first. Your API keys, settings, and reports are stored only on your device. Page content is sent only to the AI provider you choose, using your own key — never to us. There are no analytics or trackers.
