The App Switcher experience you've always wanted — right in Chrome. Whether you're on Mac or Windows, instantly jump between tabs without touching your mouse.

How it works
Press the shortcut to bring up a visual overlay showing all your open tabs as large icons. Hold the modifier key and tap to cycle through them. Release to jump instantly — no mouse needed.

Installation

Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the prompt
⚠️ Fully quit Chrome and reopen it — the extension will not work on tabs that were already open before installation
Open a few tabs and press the shortcut to try it
Default shortcuts
Mac: ⌘ + Shift + E
Windows: Ctrl + Shift + E

How to change the shortcut

Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts in your address bar
Find "Tab Switcher — Mac-Style Tab Navigator"
Click the pencil icon next to "Open / cycle Tab Switcher"
Press your preferred key combination
Note: Chrome requires at least one modifier key (⌘, Ctrl, Alt, or Shift)
Keyboard navigation
• Hold modifier + tap shortcut → cycle forward through tabs
• Arrow keys → move left / right
• Release modifier → switch to selected tab
• Esc → dismiss without switching
• Click any tab → switch immediately

Privacy
No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. All tab information stays entirely within your browser.
