About
PolyCode NoCookie is a Chrome (Manifest V3) extension that reduces cookie-banner friction with conservative, transparent, privacy-first behavior. WHAT IT DOES When a supported cookie consent banner appears, NoCookie rejects or minimizes optional consent choices where supported. It uses built-in CMP rules and falls back to a conservative heuristic when exact selectors are unavailable. The goal is reject-first behavior — it does not accept everything just to make a banner disappear. PER-SITE CONTROL You stay in control of every site: - Reject All — refuse optional consent where supported. - Necessary Only — keep strictly necessary cookies, decline the rest. - Manual — let the original banner show so you decide yourself. - Whitelist — leave specific sites untouched (e.g. corporate intranet). In this build, whitelist and per-site settings are local-only and are not stored in browser sync. LOCAL PRIVACY ANALYTICS NoCookie shows what happened, on your device only: - Banners handled and cookies detected. - A Privacy Score and basic protection-coverage visibility. - A Protection Log of consent events (site, time, action, result). Free includes basic local statistics and the latest 5 locally saved banner reports. Pro/Trial unlock daily/weekly local report views, local report export, and expanded local report retention. LOCAL COOKIE MANAGER View detected cookies by category and domain, and perform local cleanup actions. REPORT AN UNDETECTED BANNER If a banner isn't handled, you can save a local banner report for diagnostics. Reports stay on your device and are NOT uploaded automatically. PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN Your settings, whitelist, analytics, Protection Log and saved reports are local-only. NoCookie does not automatically upload banner reports, the Protection Log, cookie values, page HTML/DOM, browsing history, or form/storage values. It runs no remote code and performs no cloud rule sync in this version. LICENSING & PAYMENTS At first installation the extension automatically attempts a keyless Free activation via https://license-api.polycode.pro. Licensing requests may include the product ID, extension ID, a device fingerprint, user agent, and time/anti-tamper metadata; a license key/email is sent only when you supply one. If keyless activation fails, core local Free protection still works. There is no payment checkout inside the extension — subscriptions are managed on the PolyCode website. WHAT NoCookie IS NOT - It does not claim to handle every banner on every website. - It is not an antivirus, malware/phishing scanner, or a full ad blocker. - It does not guarantee GDPR compliance or any specific privacy outcome.
