About

Markout watches the commercial real estate listings you care about and tells you the moment anything changes.

Crexi and LoopNet are built to show you NEW listings. They are not built to tell you what CHANGED on the listings you already track — the price drop on a property you have watched for a month, the listing that quietly went off-market, the deal that just flipped to under contract. Markout fills that gap.

HOW IT WORKS

Install Markout, then browse Crexi or LoopNet the way you already do. Every listing you open is fingerprinted in the background — price, status, square footage, days on market, cap rate, broker, brokerage, description, photo count. The next time that page is opened, Markout compares the new fingerprint against the last one and logs every difference.

Changes reach you through:
- A toolbar popup with a running feed of recent changes across every listing you track
- An optional daily email digest summarizing everything that moved in the last 24 hours
- An optional desktop notification when something material changes
- An optional Slack message to your team channel
- A full-page Pipeline view of your entire watch list, sortable and filterable

WHAT GETS TRACKED

Every snapshot captures the full surface of a listing: address, asking price, status (active, pending, sold, off-market, withdrawn), days on market, square footage, lot size, number of units, year built, cap rate, NOI, occupancy, zoning, listing broker, brokerage, and photo count. Markout also detects when a listing's description or offering memorandum is rewritten, and computes price per square foot, price per unit, and price per acre automatically.

THE PIPELINE

Beyond the popup, Markout includes a full-page Pipeline showing every listing you have tracked across Crexi and LoopNet, side by side. Sort by last changed, watch priority, asking price, or first seen. Filter by tag, status, or source. Star the listings that matter and snooze the ones that do not. The Pipeline is the spreadsheet you used to maintain by hand — kept current automatically.

PRIVACY

Markout never logs in to Crexi or LoopNet for you. It only reads the listing pages you personally open in your own browser, the same way any browser extension works. No background scraping. No credentials stored. No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Your install identity is a random ID — not your name, not your email. You can turn off cloud sync to keep everything local, and erase all stored data in one click from Settings.

WHO IT IS FOR

Markout is built for commercial real estate brokers, acquisitions teams, and owner-operators — anyone whose week starts with re-checking a watch list of listings. If you keep a spreadsheet of Crexi or LoopNet listings that you re-open every Monday, Markout replaces it.
