Mock My Ad helps ad ops, media, creative, and QA teams preview ad creatives directly on live web pages.

The extension scans the active page for likely ad placements, highlights detected slots, and lets you place an uploaded creative into the selected placement. It supports PNG, JPG/JPEG, zipped HTML creatives, MP4, and WebM files.

Mock My Ad can resize image creatives to common programmatic formats, preview video creatives in likely player frames, and download a visible-page screenshot after the mockup is placed.

Mock My Ad is intended for previewing and QA-ing creative mockups. Ad placement detection is heuristic because websites render ad containers differently. Video previews are visual mockups and do not create, intercept, or modify VAST, VPAID, SIMID, Google IMA, or player-specific ad calls.

Privacy:
Creative files are processed locally in your browser. The extension scans page structure locally to detect possible ad slots. Screenshots are downloaded locally by the user. No data is sent automatically to any server.

If you use the issue report feature, the extension opens a prefilled email that you can review before sending. The email may include your comments, the page URL, selected slot details, creative filename, extension settings, browser user agent, and timestamp.
