About
Metalayers is the clipper for your self-hosted Metalayers server (an editorial layer for your Roon library). On a review, interview, tweet, YouTube video, or a record-shop newsletter (Boomkat, Bleep), click the toolbar button to capture the artist, album, writer, source, and text, match it to your library, and save it — all to your own server on your own network. Optional AI extraction (your own key) parses tricky roundups and multi-release digests. Requires a running Metalayers server (see the project's install guide). The extension talks only to the server address you configure; nothing goes to the developer.
